Yangon: YUHMA Golden Jubilee Anniversay was celebrated on 27th June 2010. YUHM held to mark a 50th anniversary.
YUHMA Reunion Day was also celebrated at Taw Win Hnin Si restaurant, Yangon, Myanmar.
The continued success of the Association activities is due to the leadership of Sayar U Myo Thant, partnership of ex-members and exceptional new generations.
Yangon Universities Hiking and Mountaineering Association celebrate Reunion Day on last Sunday of Jun every year.
Since 1996 Reunion Day, YUHMA celebrate every year.

YUHM's Homage Ceremony was held on last Sunday (18 Oct 2009) at Chan Htet Tan Chinese Temple. We invited ex-teachers and ex-lecturers and our seniors who founded and helped YUHM to become the most active hiking team in the country. Ex-students and members attended the ceremony and pay homage to our seniors.

All members are cordially invited to join Homage Ceremony (Thet Gyi Pu Zaw Pwe).
We need your help on October 17 (Sat) to prepare the ceremony. If you can lend a hand, please join us on Saturday day.
Our team will go a hiking trip to Mt. Victoria (10,500 ft) in last week of Decemeber 2009. If you want to join the trip, you will need to sing in with your name and advanced payment to Saya Myo. You also need to join training regularly.

Hikers paid respect to Sayar Myo (U Myo Thant) as a ThidinGyut activity at 10:30AM, Sunday October 19 at Innwa Hall, in Yangon University. Some members attended the ceremony with their new generations.
